European Charter
The European Charter on the Participation of Young People in Local and Regional Life was a Council of Europe (CoE) document designed to aid CoE nations in their bid to ensure the active participation of young people in decisions and actions at local and regional level.
Europe 2020
Europe 2020 is the EU's strategy for the coming decade. The Union has set five objectives - on employment, innovation, education, social inclusion and climate/energy - to be reached by 2020. Each Member State will adopt its own national targets in each of these areas. Concrete actions at EU and national levels will underpin the strategy. (European Commission Website, 2010)
